Wageningen University has introduced a new BSc minor that focuses on the recent developments in information technology and communication sciences. This minor is multidisciplinary, combining courses in the fields of nutrition and health research, communication science, and information technology. Students are educated on behaviour, communication, intervention strategies and information technology to be able to assess the opportunities and challenges of data collection using health apps.
